Thank you all for promoting Waterlily, an offer has been made an accepted, deposit paid so we are waiting on a survey. I have the original back door boards and unpainted new ones that we never fitted so I need to drop them off at Great Haywood. I also need to sort out all the supporting paperwork, bills and other documents for the prospective new owners.
Happy to be passing on a boat in better condition than when we brought her, now we can concentrate on some changes to Percy, not least the name on the back cabin !

Great stuff although a little sad too. I remember when we sold NP1 we were pleased one minute and sad the next.. a very odd feeling.
It would be very interesting to know whether the buyer had seen the boat for sale on a blog or seen it in the advertising from GH Marina or Apollo Duck?

I will find out when I meet the buyers, hopefully on handover day sometime after the survey. It would not surprise me at all if Waterlily was introduced to them via blogland. It is a great medium, having recently got a good deal on a nearly new loo by someone (Mike) reading this blog.

Yes we have Percy on our mooring at Fradley now. Hopefully in a little more space. We are in e process of swapping the mooring over and paying more for the extra 10 foot !
