Heat your saloon for 8p a day?

I will certainly give this a go.... would be a good solution for those half and half days when the fire may be too much.

If you liveaboards do it or try it let me know how you get on?

Interesting ... but it looks a little unstable - a bit of a fire hazard? Not to mention CO and water vapour. There might be some condensation with those fork handles running all the time. I don't know though ... people use candles on boats, don't they? He has got a tiny room, equivalent perhaps to a boat saloon but I don't think it will heat my house!

I'm tempted to give it a try here at home as I'm getting rather chilly.

We have three tea-light candles alight some winter evenings which makes it look warmer and cosier. I don't think they would heat our saloon though, even with the clay flowerpots over them!
